We've accepted remote work, hybrid schedules, flexible hours, and whatever the fuck else. So why are we still pretending Monday is the ideal day to start the week?
After only 48 hours of living life on my own terms, I’m expected to wake up with my mind reset ready to perform at full capacity.
Maybe Monday isn't the problem. Maybe we're asking too much of it.
Monday Should Be Optional is a protest against the idea that productivity should begin the moment the calendar flips. Not every Monday has to be conquered. Some deserve to be eased into or ignored altogether.
